'Guruji!! What You do to bring home one devotee!' My passion is meditation on the Divine. Drawing and painting Sri Yantras is a peaceful meditative process, one I recommend and wanted to share with all the USA devotees and followers. The ticket was purchased to attend a Spring teacher training course for Sri Yantra at the Ashram. Dressed in my orange clothes—coat, hat, scarf and dress—I boarded the long flight from Los Angeles to Frankfurt with a stopover in New York. After flying six hours across the country, the pilot shared that the weather conditions in New York were unacceptable to land and we were instructed to fly to another state, North Carolina, where we could land. Wow!! Of course, my thoughts turned to the connecting flight to Frankfurt. But JFK airport was closed...all in His hands...so on we fly for another two hours to another state. There was silence in the plane and then chaos arose...time for chanting Om Namo Narayanaya. Immediately, the passengers quieted as my mala beads slipped through my fingers.

There was a beautiful lady sleeping in the seats in front of me. She woke up with the chaos and turned around to me and asked what was happening. I shared and it did not bother her at all. She found my orange clothes an interesting color and thought it was weird to be dressed as such. So, I began to share Bhakti Marga and myself. She was trapped with curiosity high in the ethers...and so...Guruji had His plan...she lives in Los Angeles and I gave her a contact for OM Chanting in her area. When we landed in North Carolina, the pilot came out of the cockpit and explained that, due to a cyclone over New York City, we were diverted to land somewhere else. We had no instruction when we could resume our journey.

Our plane eventually arrived in New York City at 1 am the next day. I boarded the flight to Germany and finally stepped into the ashram days late for my course and without my baggage! But Guruji, through the orange coat and hat, had found His devotee. This trip was for her and her new path. Today, she is so focused and does not miss anything we do. She is a student of Project Mantra and an Atma Kriya Yoga initiate and she even brings snacks to all our Bhakti Marga events. Thank you Guruji for guiding this soul back to You!

'Words can confuse the mind but not the heart, as it is in the heart where the fire of longing burns. The heart doesn’t need words and it can never be satisfied with anything other than Love and unity. All the stories, whatever they are about, are just for the mind. The only good thing about it is the realisation we can drop it and stay open, in order to feel His Love.

'Lover' is the beginning of a Love journey, but the end is 'Worshipper'. The difference is that the Lover will do all in one's power to express one's Love to the Beloved, but one becomes the Worshiper after tasting the Love of the Beloved.
